Job Description
- Maximize all Room, Conference & Events revenue opportunities
- Contribute to the selling strategy of the hotel and manage the departments so that Team Members adhere to the strategy
- Ensure the Sales Team is developed effectively and embraces a culture of high-quality standards and proactive selling
- Ensure a high level of exposure for hotel through direct sales solicitation, telephone contact and written communications
- Professionally conduct routine telemarketing activities to identify new accounts
- Conduct regular Market Surveys and Competitor Research
- Contact Executives of organization to explain services and facilities offered by hotel and to solicit business
- Ensure that an efficient and accurate filing system, both manual as well as electronically is maintained at all times
- Maintain complete and supported records of all Sales Agreements, Contracts and Quotations for the hotel.
Work Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Offices and reporting
- Several years of experience in hotel sales, preferably with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
- Strong ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
