- Support new and current product design and development process through Finite Element analyses (FEA) and reporting using Ansys Workbench.
- Work with outside sources for to accomplish some common daily analysis tasks and/or for accomplishing R&D projects.
- Support the engineering program and component release functions through analysis and design suggestions.
- Perform specialized CAE development and benchmarking activities in areas such as acoustics, fatigue, computational fluid dynamics, and structural dynamics.
- Design and conduct experiments for correlation of analysis to lab test results.
- Support development and implementation of CAE group functional and technical capabilities; carry and manage CAE group internal initiatives.
- Maintain CAE resources (hardware and software).
- Work with colleagues to correlate testing on components and assemblies.
