Position Title IT executive

Responsibilities:
Helpdesk & IT Operation
- Support IT Manager in overseeing and managing IT helpdesk operations across branches and HQ.
- Conduct monthly reviews of the helpdesk ticketing system to assess and report vendor performance indicators to the IT Manager.
- Assist IT Manager in managing outsourcing vendors to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Ensure adherence to established IT policies, procedures, and standards in all IT operational practices and processes.
- Timely execution and documentation of periodic activities and reports, ensuring proper review for audit purposes.
- Manage IT assets to maintain an up-to-date asset listing.
- Monitor and renew maintenance contracts in a timely manner.
IT /Cybersecurity Operations
- Ensure all endpoint devices, servers, network devices are configured and set up following IT Security standards and policies.
- Ensure periodic security hygiene assessment and review are done in a timely manner. This includes monitoring of IT security patches, firmware for network devices, servers, and other data centre devices.
- Perform periodic activity to test effectiveness of CCB security posture including, daily health checklist as well as user and security access.
- Work closely with the IT Manager to identify, prioritise and roll out various Cyber Security programmes.
Network and Server Operations
- Assist to review hardware/software refresh on a periodic basis. All planning and budgeting must be planned to ensure minimal unplanned expenses.
- Establish an effective monitoring mechanism to monitor health status of servers and network devices.
- Assist to establish effective DR Plan & DR infrastructure; perform annual DR test to test the effectiveness of IT DR infrastructure.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in managing multi branch IT Infrastructure, network and security.
- Have knowledge of various IT end-point solutions i.e., patch management, EDR, Asset Management, backup and storage, network and security appliances, cloud hosting services.
- Have some experience in managing corporate networks i.e., IPVPN, wireless LAN, branch network operation.
- Competent in documentation and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- 5 or more years of IT experience in IT support
- Degree in Information Technology
- Good command of written and verbal English.
- Good time management, prioritisation skills and highly analytical with strong attention to details, especially in reporting and reviewing tasks

Salary: RM3,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
