Accounts Officer [Singapore]


 

Job Description

The Accounts Officer reports to the Accounting Manager to support the Finance department in carrying out the responsibilities of the department. He/She covers duties such as work that is specific to accounts receivable, accounts payable, tax filing, data compilation, billing, payroll or other accounting tasks.

The Accounts Officer assists in consolidated financial statements, accruals, monthly and yearly finalisation of accounts for audit purposes. His/ Her main role is to support the Accounting Manager in various accounting tasks.

Job Requirements

  • Candidate should possess at least Diploma in Accountancy or Diploma in Business Administration;
  • Accounts Payable functions include verifying supplier’s invoices, initiating payments and data entry
  • Accounts Receivables functions include preparing AR reports and monitor cash balance.
  • Handle petty cash claims and reimbursement
  • Monthly bank and accounts reconciliation.
  • Handling staff claims.
  • Undertake instructions from Accounting Manager and Director for the transactions and tasks given.
  • Ensure timely and accurate month end closing.
  • Other ad-hoc duties that are being assigned by direct supervisor from time to time.
  • Able to work independently and as a team
  • Able to meet deadlines
  • Meticulous and has good work ethics

  • Able to start work immediately/ as soon as possible.
