Essential Job Functions: The Kitchen Assistant will assist the Kitchen Manager in the following duties:
- Prepares and maintains kitchen surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
- Performs other kitchen duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager.
- Follows all food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Maintains a clean and orderly work area.
- Performs all job duties with attention to detail and in accordance with established policies, procedures, and standards.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains a positive attitude and provides constructive feedback to other team members when appropriate.
Required Skills & Abilities: The essential job requirements are: 1) Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment 2) Must be able to communicate effectively 3) Must be able to work standing for the majority of the shift 4) Must have good organizational skills 5) Must have good communication skills 6) Must have the ability to multi-task. 7) Must have the ability to work well in a team environment. 8) Must have the ability to problem solve. 9) Must have the ability to work independently when necessary. 10) The ability to follow instructions from superiors is a must. 11) The ability to work with various types of foods and equipment is a must. 12) The ability to lift up to 50 lbs., or more, is required.

Part-time hours: 30-45 per week
Salary: £10.00-£11.00 per hour
